Ghangad is a fort is situated near Lonavala, near the beautiful Mulshi stream which is in Pune District. The fort is surrounded by other forts like Korigad, Tailbaila and Sudhagad. Being in the heart of Tamhini Ghat, the climb to the fort is indeed deceptively easy. There is a beautiful rocky path, which used to require some level of rock climbing skills but now has a ladder which makes traversing it far easier. The summit offers majestic views of the Konkan Valley which make all the effort seem worthwhile.
