If you are an adventure enthusiast, Dandeli is the place for you. Located about 125 km from Goa, Dandeli is gaining popularity with the craze of water sports. A large number of rivers originate from Western Ghats, and Dandeli being located at a close proximity is blessed with River Kali.

Kali is a short and swift river located in North Karnataka on the borders of Maharashtra and Goa. It moves towards west and serves as an excellent whiter water rafting location. White Water Rafting on Kundalika started a few years ago and now a year round activity (Only rafting facility in India to be operational all round the year). White Water Rafting in Kundalika Kolad is controlled by the release of the Dam on the Kundalika River and offers Grade II and Grade III rapids (Higher the Grade, higher the level of difficulty). Dandeli is a wonderful destination providing opportunities for white water rafting for non-swimmers as well as children above 12. you are provided with proper guide and training facilities. We provide booking for rafting and other water sports in the region.

River Rafting is one of the most adventurous sports at Dandeli. The first and second rapids are the most important and are named 'Adi's Beard' and 'The Stitch' respectively. The other rapids located at river Kali are the Smugglers' Trove, the Stanley's Squeeze, etc. Overnight rafting trips are also available here.

Dandeli at the northern tip of Karnataka and just off Goa is one of the best centres for watersports especially White Water Rafting. Due to periodic release of water from the hydroelectric project, rafting is assured right till end-may however it has to be coincided with the water release. The area is situated approximately 1,800 feet above sea level and is surrounded by thick tropical rain forests. It is blessed with an excellent climate round the year and gets rainfall almost all through the year. The Kali River (Which flows through the area) offers a great opportunity to paddle through numerous, exciting technical class 3 rapids. The beautiful surroundings are home to a wide range of wildlife, including a flourishing bird life, in particular several species of very rare Hornbills. Monkeys, elephants, wild boars, sambar deer, crocodiles, giant squirrels and even sightings of leopards and a black panther have been recorded from the boats.
