Event Overview

Dudhsagar literally means ocean of milk. This is one of Goa’s most attractive and ideal picnic spots mainly offering charismatic natural beauty and amazing scenery when in full flow after the monsoons. The waterfall initially appears like streams of milk flowing down the mountain which later culminate into gushing cascades after they come in full view of the awestruck visitors. The falls can be reached via Kulem Railway Station. The alternate way of reaching the falls is only advisable between October to May, when the level of the water in the rivers abates enough to permit approach the base of the falls. Dudhsagar Falls is listed as India’s fifth tallest waterfall and is 227th in the world at 310 m. The famous photograph of Trains passing through before the waterfalls can be seen in this route and also the complete stretch of the falls is visible while hiking towards the waterfalls. Get ready for the Walk of 16 kms To & fro from Kulem railway station.

Event Details


Day 1 - Pune - Kulem
  • Pune – Kulem – 04.00 pm
  • All Participants have to report at Pune Railway Station on Platform No. 1 by Sharp 04.00 pm.
  • 04.30 pm
  • Board 12780 Goa Express (Non AC Sleeper) by 04.30 pm & proceed towards Kulem.
Day 2 - Dudhsagar Trek
  • 03.30 am
  • Wake up. Freshen up; change your cloths, if required in a Train only. Keep your Bags ready.
  • 04.35 am
  • Get down at Kulem. Toilets / Changing Facilities are not available during Trek. Get down immediately because train stops for One Minute only.
  • 05.30 am
  • Start a trek of 12 kms towards Dudhsagar. Breakfast in Jungle.
  • 09.30 am
  • Reach base of Dudhsagar waterfall. Entering in to the waterfall is strictly not allowed for safety purpose. Click the best moments with your best buddies.
  • 10.30 am
  • Starts return trek towards Kulem Railway Station via Bhagwan Mahavir Sanctuary.
  • 02.00 pm
  • Reach Kulem. Change your cloths in common washroom area separately for Gents & Ladies.
  • 02.30 pm
  • Lunch (Veg. / Non Veg. as per choice given at the time of Booking). After lunch free time.
  • 04.00 pm
  • Gather at Kulem Railway station. Give Attendance to Team Explorers.
  • 04.30 pm
  • Board 12779 Goa Express & start return journey towards Pune.

  • A Good Quality Rucksack suitable for One day Trek with all Luggage packed inside in a Plastic Bag.

  • Rainproof / Sun Cap / Warm Wear as per Season.
