Bangalore Mountain Bike Festival(BMF) is a 2 day Cross Country (XC), Downhill Race and Trail Run in Bangalore near Nandi Hills. Bangalore, mecca of Indian cycling needs a festival of its own, Bangalore is a paradise for mountain bikers/Trail runners who seek unlimited adrenalin rush riding/running in forest area with rocky paths and natural obstacles challenging their skill and technique.

Bangalore is a place where you get hills every 10kms and it will be used to the advantage of trail runners and mountain bikers through this festival. —BMF is open to all categories, from enthusiast to professionals, male and female – age group from 16- 60years. Race format of BMF will be a mix of India’s best MTB riders, best trail runners, international riders, budding MTB riders from every nook and corner of India.

Bangalore Mountain Biking Festival will be one of its kind event organised by Hound Cycles where three major adventure sports will be conducted on the same day, they are :
Trail Running
Cross country MTB
Downhill MTB.

Schedule
Day 1 - Arrival of Riders
  • 9:00AM Arrival of riders/runners
  • 11am to 2pm Practice sessions for trail running, XC & DH
  • 2pm to 4pm
  • DH seed run
  • 5:00pm Tea
  • 7:00pm Dinner at campsite/hotel.
Day 2 - Trail Run Starts
  • 6:00am Runner/MTBers arrival, bib checking
  • 7:00am Trail run starts
  • 9:00am DH final run or seed run
  • 10:00am Prize Distribution for trail runners
  • 10:15am Breakfast
  • 10:30am XC race starts
  • 12:30pm Prize Distribution for XC & DH
  • 1:30pm Lunch
  • 3:00pm DH final run (optional)
  • 5:00pm Prize Distribution (optional) for DH.
