The lush forests of bamboo and Sal will welcome you into nature’s lap as you enter Bandhavgarh. Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve is one of the very famous national parks in Central India. The beauty of Bandhavgarh leaves every nature lover spellbound especially because of the serene combination of dense forest, bamboo islands, evergreen grasslands and couple of ancient caves all nestled on the backdrop of Bandhavgarh fort – an archaeological heritage which gives the national park its name. Bandhav means Brother and Garh means Fort. Its a popular folk tale that this fort was gifted to brother Laxmana by Lord Rama during Ramayanas. Although Bandhavgarh is a relatively small park in the last few years this former game reserve has become one of India’s most prominent National Parks. The total area of the park is 1161, with core area of 624 and buffer of 537 It was declared as a National park in 1968. The forest of Bandhavgarh is considered as dry deciduous type and is rich in its flora and fauna. It shelter high density of tigers and leopards along with more than 230 species of birds and other animals.

Day 1 - Reporting and Journey Started
  • Leave for Jabalpur, Overnight Journey in train.
Day 2 - Reach Jabalpur and First Safari
  • Drive to Bandhavgarh Resort. Check in, freshen up and lunch. Ice-breaking session and introduction about Bandhavgarh national park. After lunch leave for our first Jungle Safari. Explore the amazing landscape, track some wild cats. Evening back to resort. Discussion, dinner and then rest.
