Event Description

The Landscape of Uttaranchal is amazingly beautiful. This state has wide diversity of landscape. It starts from North Indian Genetic plains to Foot hill forests, then lower himalayan lush green meadows and after that snow capped peaks. Valley of flowers is a place located in this amazing state where you find wide diversity of wild Flowers. During monsoon season. From November to April this place is usually covered in snow. As summer progresses in Mainland of India, heat starts thawing of snow. By June the land is free of snow and little herbs start growing. Since they know that they have very little time period before next winter arrives, they start blooming very rapidly. This transforms complete terrain. The area which was completely barren a month before, suddenly bustles with life. This is the time when we visit the valley of flowers. The disaster in Uttarakhand had wiped out the approach roads, but valley in itself was not harmed. After gap of two years Valley is reopening. As there were absolutely no visitors in last two years, the untouched beauty of valley is beyond words and something which should be expereinced. Uttarakhand forest department has kept this place very clean and strictly free from plastic. This makes overall visit to Valley of Flowers very pleasurable trip.
