|Itinerary||DAY-1 : COLOMBO – DAMBULLA
Welcome to Sri lanka ! Our local Represntaive would be available to greet you on Arrival at Colombo Airport & assist you for further journey. Proceed towards Dambulla. En route visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, Get ready to meet baby jumbos wondering around their cramped foster home or bottle fed & bathed by their human foster fathers at Pinnawalla. Evening arrival at Dambulla. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY-2 : COLOMBO – KANDY
Morning visit Sigirya Rock Fortress. This is worlds heritage site also known as eighth wonder of world. Further visit Golden cave temple in Dambulla and the spice gardens in Matale proceed to Kandy. Evening at leisure to experience the mesmerizing performance of Kandiyan cultural dancing & drumming. Overnight stay in Hotel.
A relaxing morning gives you the opportunity to spend time exploring both Lake Kandy and the second largest city in Sri Lanka,as we set off pay visit to the Temple of the Tooth, one of the most important Buddhist relics in the country. Followed by Art & Craft Centre, Gem Museum & Lapidary. And an interesting visit to Royal Botanical Garden of Peradeniya which boasts 300+ varieties of orchids, spices, medicinal plants and the grove of splendid trees all planted by eminent world figures. Overnight in Hotel.
DAY-4: KANDY – NUWARA ELIYA
Morning you’ll travel south through Sri Lanka’s stunning hill country, Enjoy a ride through Sri Lanka’s tea country a perfect way to admire the many local hill villages on arrival in the highland city of Nuwara Eliya.Ramboda Falls, Mack-Wood Tea Centre and beautiful mountains throughout the journey awaits you. Watch tea pickers in the fields, visit an old English tea factory and walk along the picturesque plateau at Horton Plains to take in the sweeping views of World’s End. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY-5: NUWARA ELIYA – YALA
Today we are in Nuwara Eliya. With its luscious green hills and dramatic peaks.With the unmistakable air of a quintessential English town, Nuwara Eliya is affectionately known as ‘Little England’ and it won’t take you long to see why. Colonial style buildings rose scented flower gardens, red telephone boxes and even a church, all surrounded by a blanket of rolling tea plantations; this is a totally different side of Sri Lanka. Nuwar Eliya is also known as heart of the Srilanka’s tea producing significant share of the world’s best tea. Srilanka’s highest mountain called Pidurutalagala (8282 feet’s) is located here. Leaving the tea plantations behind, Later proceed to Yala National Park. Transfer to Yala via Ella Wellawaya. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY-6: YALA – GALLE – BENTOTA
Day Starts Early today 05:00 Am with Jeep Safari exploring The Yala National Park will hope to see one of the many leopards, large herd of Sri Lankan Elephant resident in the area and water buffalo amongst the animal life to be found in the park. Following visit the Elephant Transit Home, this has been set up to care for abandoned calves found within the park. Before noon we bid abided to Yale and head to Bentota located 64km south of Colombo in the South-western coastal belt of Sri Lanka. En route visiting the fishing harbor in Hamantota. Evening free for you own exploration, a stroll around the golden beach discover the exotic vibe so distinguished from the rest of Sri Lanka could be a good choice and Apart from stunning views of the sea, you can also enjoy some exciting water sports at Bentota beach. Overnight at Hotel.
DAY-7: BENTOTA & GALLE
Morning head for the fortified city of Galle, where you can take time to admire the sights, which includes St Mary’s Cathedral a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A stopover at “ Sea Turtle Conservation Project ” set up for conserving the endangered turtle population, the hatchery will introduce you more about this lovely creature when letting you to stay close to with them. Evening A boat excursion of Madu ganga,Also Weliganga(sandy river) located in the coastal town of Balapitiya and is considered the last remaining tract of pristine mangrove forest in Sri Lanka after Bentota.. Overnight in Hotel.
DAY-8: BENTOTA – COLOMBO AIRPORT
After breakfast proceed towards Colombo Airport.
