Things to Carry 1. One haversack and one small shoulder bag (no Trolley Bag Or Suitacse)
2. Comfortable clothes for the no. of days (track Pants, t-shirts, tops etc) (Avoid Jeans)
3. Suitable nightwear , shorts, 3/4 s, one shawl/ chaddar, sweatshirt.
4. Undergarments, towel, napkin/ handkerchief, ladies sanitary sets
5. Sport shoes ,socks, floaters, Sun cap/ hat, water bottle
6. Personal kit containing toilet accessories, sun screen, cold cream, odomos,
7. No Deoderent
8. Torch with fresh batteries
9. Sun glasses, camera, binoculars, (optional at your own risk)
10. A bird book, field guide (if available)
11. Personal medicine, if any, with a note explaining doses, time, quantity etc. with the name of the child, No need to send any extra medicine
12. Pen, a small diary, a story book
13. Around 1500/- for meals during travel and for shopping
14. Please don’t send Mobile phone, music player etc. with the child.
15. An ID card with a color copy, (school I card/ Adhaar card/ Driving License etc)

Itinerary Day 1 :
Report at main porch of Pune station at 1600 hrs. Depart by Garib Rath (12113) to Nagpur at 1740 hrs.

Day 2:
Arrive at Nagpur at 0925 hrs and proceed to Pench by SUV.Orientation at the resort followed by Nature trail.

Day 3
Morning and evening Jungle Safaris to view wildlife – wild boars, jackals, jungle cat, sloth bear, leopard, gaur, tiger. Post trail discussions, games, sky watch.

Day 4:
On the jungle trail …. discover the tale tell signs, follow the Pugmarks, mimic the birds. Your instructors will teach you to read the jungle book. Hopefully you will see lots of wild animals. Another jungle safari in the evening. Camp fire at night.

Day 5:
Birding trail in the morning. Depart for Nagpur after lunch to board (12114) Pune Garibrath at 1835 hrs.

Day 6:
Arrive Pune in the morning by 0945 hrs.

4. 3/4 sharing Air Cooled rooms in a wildlife resort.

Event Description

Pench National Park, nestling in the lower southern reaches of the Satpuda hills is named after the Pench river, meandering through the park from north to south. It is located on the southern boundary of Madhya Pradesh, bordering Maharashtra, in the districts of Seoni and Chhindwara. Pench National Park, comprises 758 sq km, with a core area of 299 sq km of Indira Priyadarshini Pench National Park and the Mowgli Pench Sanctuary and the remaining 464 sq km of the Park is the buffer area. The tiger reserve has a glorious history. A description of its natural wealth and richness occurs in Ain-i-Akbari. Pench Tiger Reserve and its neighborhood is the original setting of Rudyard Kipling's most famous work, The Jungle Book.

The Pench National Park is located in Southern Madhya Pradesh in India, about 70 km from the city of Nagpur. Spread over an area of 275 km² 90% of area is in the neighboring state of Madhya Pradesh rest 10% in Maharashtra.The campsite is located near the entrance of the forest.

The Pench camp offers great sightings of Tigers and Bears. Nature trails, birding, treasure hunt are designed to give the participants an excellent Jungle experience.
