2. Parabalgad 

Prabalgad is situated on northeast side of Panvel, on Mumbai-Pune road. One can see it from express highway a V-Shaped one. The Left one is Kalwantin Durg & right side is Prabalgad. It is located on a plateau very close to Matheran.

Peth Fort is situated in Shahapur taluka, Karjat district. Hight of this fort is 3100 ft above sea level. This fort is also known as Kothaligad because of the internally excavated stairs at the fort top.
